Registration Is From 10/05/09 to 12/31/09

 

For the Spring 2010 season ABL is only accepting PLAYER REGISTRATIONS online via this link. Registration will begin on October 5th and run until December 31,2009. Please remember that YOU WILL BE BILLED BY SPORTSCLUBSONLINE not ABL for your registration fees. This is important as chargebacks from ANY queries about a charge result in a $30 charge to ABL and a $20 charge to you levied by the credit card companies. Also, for Spring 2010 the registration fee is $200 for the first child and $100 for any additional children. A LATE FEE of $100 per child will be charged after December 31,2009 so please have your registrations in on time.

 

Age Eligibility
Note that for the 2007 season onwards, Armonk Baseball League is changing the criteria for its league assignments. A player will now be eligible for a particular division based on his or her birthday. League assignments will no longer be based on grade. Little League Baseball has developed this criteria and the ABL Board of Directors has determined that adopting this age based approach will benefit our players. We expect this change to improve player development and overall competitiveness during our Spring and Travel seasons. The age eligibility criteria for each division is listed below.

 

Pee Wees (age 6) – born between 5/1/03 and 11/30/04. Note: Players born between 5/1/04 and 11/30/04 will play in the Pee Wee divisions for two years.

Instructional (age 7) – born between 5/1/02 and 4/30/03

Juniors (age 8) – born between 5/1/01 and 4/30/02

Minors (age 9) – born between 5/1/00 and 4/30/01

Intermediates (age 10) – born between 5/1/99 and 4/30/00

Majors (ages 11-12) – born between 5/1/97 and 4/30/99

Seniors (ages 13-15+) – born between 1/1/94 and 4/30/97


Please note that ALL 10th GRADERS ARE ELIGIBLE TO PLAY regardless of age.

Volunteers
ABL needs VOLUNTEERS to act as COACHES and ASSISTANT COACHES. If you would like to COACH please MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE APPROPRIATE DROPDOWN SELECTION in the Volunteering and Sponsorship page. PLEASE DO NOT VOLUNTEER YOUR SPOUSE UNLESS YOU ARE SURE THEY WISH TO PARTICIPATE.

 

Sponsorships
ABL needs SPONSORS for each team it fields. If you would like to SPONSOR a team MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE APPROPRIATE DROPDOWN SELECTION in the Volunteering and Sponsorship page. PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU SPELL YOUR SPONSORSHIP NAME CORRECTLY.

 

Car pools and Coach pools may be requested via the Family Portal. Go to the Registrations (car pools) or Volunteer Registration (coach pools) menu link. NOTE that you may only request a car/coach pool with an individual or volunteer that IS ALREADY REGISTERED. So you both need to be registered before a pool can be entered.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellation requests received prior to December 31st will be reimbursed less a $25.00 processing fee.  Cancellation requests received after December 31st but prior to January 31st will be reimbursed less a $50.00 processing fee.  All cancellation requests after January 31st will be reimbursed at 50% (fifty percent) of the registration fee.
