7th ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY CLASSIC – MAY 29th

 

 

Dear Supporters:

 

Our 7th Annual Memorial Day Classic is fast approaching on Saturday, May 29th, rain date May 30th.  The Memorial Day Classic is our biggest fund raiser.  This year it is our goal to raise capital to offset the IBM improvements (back stop and fencing improvements, new concrete flooring in the dugouts, roofs on the dugouts, repairs to the pitching machine and the cage).    Prior years improvements included converting IBM #4 baseball field to accommodate the new 50/70’ format that the 12U’s have begun to utilize, the completion of Clark Field and installation of the scoreboard.

 

Some of you have asked how the Inaugural Grand Slam Celebration to be held on June 18th will impact the Memorial Day Classic.   There will not be any impact.  The classic is about the players and families and includes the All-Star Games, and other competitions and rides.  Both events offer opportunity for you to contribute towards the league and parks facilities. 

 

We continue to strive to provide benefits for youth baseball in North Castle.  We look for your continued support as we aim to accomplish improvements to the IBM, Clark & Lombardi baseball fields.  We are working together with the Town of North Castle Recreation Dept. to maximize the benefit of these improvements. 

 

We need your support.  We offer the following opportunities to make a donation to the Armonk Baseball League.  A large sponsor sign, 24”x48”, can be purchased for $1,000 and displayed on the “Sponsor Wall” as you enter the IBM Fields.  You will also receive recognition in our Journal for the Grand Slam Celebration Event.  For a donation of $300 you can purchase and display a sign of 18” x 24”.
