The Family Guide To Registration With The Armonk Baseball League (ABL)

and The Sports-Clubs-Online (SCO) System

 

Armonk Baseball League is now using the SCO system to manage it's registration and scheduling information. This document provides information for families on the registration process and accessing data via the ABL website and Family Portal of the SCO system.

  1. How do I register my child for the ABL spring baseball program?
    1. ABL is using online registration via either the link on it's website or via the family portal. To register via the ABL website, select the Online Registration link in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen and then follow these instructions:
    2. Select the age group you want to register for by clicking the age group link that represents the correct age group.
    3. Enter your login id and password (for returning users this is the same login id and password that you were assigned last year during the registration process) and click the Login button. For those of you who do not know if you have a login id or password please use the login finder (enter your last name and home phone number). If you do not have a login id and password you may create one by clicking on the New User link in the text. After creating or retrieving your login id please return to this screen and enter then in the required fields and click the Login button.
    4. Check the data of your family and enter any registration details and click continue.
    5. For returning users, details of individuals previously set-up in the system will appear in a dropdown box. Select the Individual you wish to register and click the Continue button. To add another individual select New and then click the Continue button.
    6. Indiciate if you are willing to volunteer for this activity and any sponsorship/donation information (if available) and click the continue button.
    7. Repeat this process for all your registrations and then click the Checkout button.
    8. Enter Credit Card Payment Information and click the Confirm button.
    9. If you successfully completed the registration process a confirmation screen will appear and a confirmation email will be sent to your email address confirming the reservation. You may also view your registration via the Family Protal (the top link in the ABL menu) using the login id and password used during registration.

  2. What happens after I register my child for the ABL Spring program?
  3. After you register your child ABL will process the registration and assign your child to a team. After this a volunteer will contact you to inform you which team your child has been placed on and other relevant information. Rosters and schedules will also be posted on the ABL website when they are available.

  4. How do I view the status of my registration?
  5. To view registration details, and other family data, please log on to the Family Portal by either a) going to the ABL website at www.armonkbaseball.org and clicking on the 'Family Portal' menu item in the menu on the left-hand side of the screen (please make sure pop-ups are enabled in your browser or security software for this), or b) going to www.sportsclubsonline.com/family.htm. Enter your username and password sent to you during the registration process and click the login button. Once you have logged onto the Family Portal you may consult the 'How-To-guide' for details of how to manage family data and set-up volunteers and players for registration.

  6. How do I know what team my child is assigned to?
  7. You will be notified via email once team assignments have been completed by ABL. Once notified you can logon to the Family Portal and view your team assignment via the 'Registrations' menu item. Note that your team name will only appear after team assignments have been made by ABL. Depending on ABL procedures, you may also be contacted by the team coach to inform you of your team information.

  8. How do I find out schedule information etc?
  9. Schedule information for the team your child has been assigned to will appear on the ABL website and in your family portal. Check the 'Schedules By Grade/Team' menu item in the ABL website or the 'Individual Schedules' menu item in the Family Portal for this data. Note that this data will only appear after being finalized and released by ABL.

  10. I'm having trouble navigating the Family Portal and ABL website - what am I doing wrong?
  11. The SCO system is a list based navigation system. Once you have selected a page and a list has appeared you navigate from one page to another by clicking the square in the left-hand column of the row you are interested in, and then selecting an action via one of the buttons on the page. For example, in the family portal click on the 'Family Members' menu item to display a list of individuals in your family. Then click on the square in the left-hand column of the row of the individual you are interested in and then click the 'Update' button to see details of that individual. To update data for that individual enter the data in the form page and click on the 'Continue' button.

  12. I forgot my login details - how do I find them out?
  13. If you have been set up on the Sports-Clubs-Online system before you will already have a login and password (e.g. if you volunteered to coach in AYSO). To retrieve your login please follow the instructions below:

    1. Click on the 'Forgotten your user name or password? - click here' link.
    2. Click on the ' If you do not know, or cannot remember, this information please click here' Link.
    3. Enter your last name and telephone number and click the 'Find' button.
    4. If the email address is correct press the Send' button and your login details will be sent to you.
    5. If the email address is not correct please email: loginreset@armonkbaseball.org with your name and phone number and you will be sent new login details.

  14. How do I change my email address or login details or other family data?
  15. To change your email address/family data please follow the instructions below:
    1. Click on the Family Portal Login link on the website.
    2. Login using the username and password that you entered during your login creation.
    3. Click on the Family menu item on the left side of the screen. Enter the desired information and click the Continue button.
